E413: Why You Should Do The 75 Hard Challenge

One of the best things I did over the summer is something called 75 Hard.

It is a transformative mental toughness program designed to help you take control of your life and just be a better version of yourself after completing it.

Today, I’ll be talking about how I discovered 75 Hard and why I got into it (Hint: friendly bet). Then I’ll go over the various tasks that you’ll be required to do throughout the program and share my own experiences with them overall.

A lot of entrepreneurs often overlook their own physical and mental toughness, so I hope this solo episode will inspire you to take care of yourself as you grow your business.

Completing 75 Hard was unbelievably satisfying for me, and I definitely felt a whole lot better with the tasks and routines I had to do. I’m looking forward to giving it another go, and I’m excited to share what that experience would be with you guys in the future.

  1. Great episode Mike. I did the challenge back in Spring and finished with a bang in May by drinking heavily for a birthday celebration…. very ouch for the next few days! My challenge was a 45 min run / walk in the AM and a 45 min row on my machine in the PM (having Netflix for this was very handy). My diet was to cut out sugar and to fast for 12 hours in every 24. I lost 10KG and felt great. Sleep really improved in the long run but my first 10 days’ sleep was terrible due to booze withdrawal – I’m a daily drinker of a small beer or two. I felt much more focused and efficient and my business really felt the benefits too. Family life was a lot more consistent and harmonious but my social life dropped off a cliff!

I’ve put 6 of the 10KG back on since but my weight is staying constant so a net 4KG loss is worth having… perhaps I’ll have to do it again :o)

    All the best, Luke
