Does she love to understand how the world works, meet inspirational women and have new experiences?
We're SUPER excited to provide 25 lucky Grade 7-12 girls an exclusive opportunity to experience a day at RACQ - Queensland's largest membership organisation and provider of far more services than just Roadside Assistance!
ABOUT THE EVENT
During this exciting all-day experience held on-site at RACQ's Head Office in Eight Mile Plains, girls in attendance will participate in:
1) A macro overview of RACQ and their broader tech industry
2) An interactive Q&A with key female staff members ranging from recent graduate placements through to senior management during which the girls can ask their own burning questions
3) Developing a comprehensive understanding of available roles, pathways and opportunities for girls and women within RACQ
4) A tour of the Fleet space to see how the company operates on a day-to-day basis, pick up some tips on car maintenance, what to do if your car breaks down, and get an insight into some of the tech career opportunities at RACQ
5) A Financial Literacy workshop
6) A showcase hosted by RACQ team members from different departments, showing the increased use of bots and automation in some of the organisation's processes.
7) Small group Female Leadership mentoring sessions
We kick off at 9am and the day finishes at 2:30pm
This event is provided FREE OF CHARGE to attendees, thanks to generous sponsorship provided by RACQ. Our generous hosts are providing morning tea and lunch, so just bring a pen and your notebook and you will be good to go!
